You can Create Wealth
Do you ever feel cursed with poverty? Do you wish you could break that curse? You can create wealth for yourself. With the right tools, knowledge, self discipline, and drive, you can create wealth. It may take more work for some people than others, but you can change your financial wealth.
Think Positive
As cheesy as it sounds, you should think positive. Don’t keep putting yourself down and telling yourself that you will always be struggling with money. If you keep saying that you’ll subconsciously believe it for the rest of your life.
While this step will not be nearly enough to create wealth, it is completely necessary. Tell yourself that you can do it. You can change your life. You can make more money. You can learn how to manage your money so that it doesn’t waste away. You can create wealth for yourself.
Educate Yourself
Education is a large part of increasing your wealth. It comes up in many ways. First, if you aren’t making much money at your job, you need to educate yourself to improve your job skills. You can go back to college or to college for the first time to get a degree. You can get a master’s and increase your pay.
If you don’t think you can learn in college, then go to trade school and learn a trade. Gaining skills is what you should be aiming to do. If you want to start your own business, learn everything you can about setting up a business and about the industry or niche you want to get into to.
Educate yourself on Finance
Education is also necessary to learn how to manage your money. You can make 6 figures a year, but if you can’t manage your money correctly and you end up spending it all, you won’t create any wealth. Even someone making $300,000 a year can get themselves into debt.
Take money management courses, read finance books, and learn to budget. This is probably the most important thing you can do. You have to be able to save money in order to have money to invest and earn more. Even someone with a very meager salary can create wealth if they are able to manage their money very well.
Think Creatively, Outside the Box
There are more ways to make money than your 9 to 5 job. You can get a part time job on the side, or you can start your own side business. This is where you need to be creative. Find a void and fill it. If you see someone having trouble with something and you can help them, offer to do it for them for a fee. Then create a business around it. Better yet, fill the void differently from other people. For example, if you decide to help fix peoples cars, make a door to door service and volunteer to go to their house instead of having them come to you. This can give you a much needed edge.
You can even think creatively in your own job and career. Don’t just do your job, do it better than everyone else. Find ways to increase productivity and you will be able to move up in your company quickly and therefore increase your salary.
Save your Money
Investing is an important part to creating wealth. It will make it grow much more quickly than sticking it in a savings account. Still, you need to save the money first. You MUST become a saver if you every want to create wealth. Once you save it you can invest it, but you must save it first.
As I previously mentioned, make a budget. Make a plan to “Pay yourself first” so that you put saving money as your top priority. Cut back wherever you can so that you can save more. Begin by placing all the money you save into a savings account. Use ING Direct to help you keep it organized while also earning a high interest rate.
Pay off your Debt
Before you begin investing, take the money you save to pay off your debt. Aside from your mortgage, work as hard as you can to pay off ALL your debt. On top of that, stop borrowing. Paying off a credit card doesn’t do much good if you rack up another one. Pay off your debt as soon as possible so that you can start investing your money and creating wealth.
Stick to it
None of these tips will work for you if you don’t stick with them for the rest of your life. If you start a side business you could end up creating a nice extra income, but if you start to lose interest, that extra income will disappear. Saving for a couple of months is not enough, you need to keep doing it.
In everything you do, you need to keep persistent. This includes creating wealth. You have to keep at it for years to come in order to make any progress. Finally, you must Start Now!
